Tuesdays at Noon - The Keuka Restaurant, 12 Main St., Penn Yan Mission The mission of Rotary International, a worldwide association of Rotary clubs, is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards, and to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Rotary Literacy Night at Penn Yan Elementary School To Celebrate Rotary Literacy Month the Penn Yan Rotary invited several community members to come in and read to our Elementary students. We had pretty good attendance between the Cub Scouts and the other students that came out. Each student will be given a book of their choice from the 5 books that were read that night. A special thank you to the Interact group for their help with this project. Also to community members that read to the children.	April 29^th 4:00 PM Party at Sue’s June 2^nd District Golf Tournament
4 Way Test	Visit From District Governor Norma Madayag-Reilly Penn Yan Rotary Club welcomed District Governor, Norma Madayag-Reilly and her husband Gary (AKA Excutive Assitant to the Governor) at Tuesdays meeting. She spoke about her goals and also the RI President’s goals. She spoke about the Rotary family, recutment, ending Polo and other intiatives. Norma reminded the club of the up coming Distict Conference in Rochester and congratulated the club on last years conference in Gettysburg. Tom Rogers accompanied Norma and Gary. It was wonderful to have Norma visit the Penn Yan club and we look forward to her leadership.

Students of the Month
Patrick Reagan. Was the Rotary Student of the Month for January Patrick is a Penn Yan Middle School Student that was the first HUBBA Asset Promoter of the Month for the Ruby Team this year, he is on the Academic Challenge Bowl team, active in Boy Scouts and was a huge help with all the HUBBA meetings I had this year including helping make ornaments for the Starshine Trees, helped build picnic tables for the outlet trails and has always offered to help any time.
